I have decided to live life to the fullest. I'm going to try and do new things on a regular basis, try and visit new places, try and not live such a boring life. In essence I want to live like a tourist in my own town. Visit places, see new things. Let's live this life to the fullest!!

More Wine Tasting

So a few weekends ago Mike and I went wine tasting again with some friends. We stopped at 6 wineries. I had forgotten my camera so I got a few pics when we went back again but we also had stopped at a few wineries I had already been to.

Stop 1: Meridian Vineyards
Tasting Fee: $5, you can also do cheese or chocolate tasting paired with wine for $10

Wasn't a huge fan of this place. Their wine was ok, but it is very commercialized. I tend to like the smaller wineries that you can't find their wine just anywhere. Meridian wines you can buy at a grocery store almost anywhere. It is a decent stop right when you get into town.

Stop 2: Eberle
Tasting Fee: N/A

Been here before. Great wines!

Stop 3: Grey Wolf
Tasting Fee: $5

No pics. Wasn't impressed.

Stop 4: Niner Vineyards
Tasting Fee: $10

This picture doesn't do this place justice. It was a gorgeous building and grounds. The wine was really good too! I would definitely recommend this winery. They have an oak grove of trees in the shape of a heart on the hill of their property. It was really neat.

Stop 5: Red Soles Winery
Tasting Fee: $10

Been here before, great wines. Lots of good wines to try for the price, and you can try any of the wines on their list...I want to say their was 15-20 to choose from.

Stop 6: Castoro Cellars
Tasting Fee: varies on number of wines to try

Again, been here before. Dam fine wines is their slogan, and its true. Their wines are really good.
